Allview Auto, the electric mobility division of Romanian technology company Visual Fan, reported a 58.87% share of Romania’s urban electric microcar segment in September 2026. The figure appears in a current report filed by Visual Fan with the Bucharest Stock Exchange and is attributed to vehicle registration data published by the Romanian Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association, known as APIA.

The result covers one month and a defined microcar category. It is not a share of Romania’s entire passenger-car market and should not be read as a share of all battery-electric registrations. Within the segment described in the filing, Allview held the first two model positions: CityZEN accounted for 36.17% and 4City for 22.70%. Together, the two models produced the company’s 58.87% segment share.

Two models behind the result

CityZEN is the model that established Allview Auto in the category of compact electric vehicles that can be driven from the age of 16 with a B1 licence. Visual Fan says the model was introduced in 2023 and that it became the national leader in its category in 2025, based on APIA data cited by the company.

4City is the newer product. Visual Fan launched it in March 2026 and described it in its BVB filing as an electric urban vehicle with four seats and five doors. The company quotes an urban range of up to 300 kilometres, two front airbags and a fully metal body.

The September filing does not include the absolute number of registrations for every brand in the segment. That limits what can be inferred from the percentage. A 58.87% share describes the distribution inside the tracked category; it does not reveal how many vehicles were registered without access to the underlying APIA table. APIA offers dynamic registration analysis and monthly reports, but the complete category table is not reproduced in Visual Fan’s announcement.

The first-half comparison

Visual Fan reported an approximately 49% share for Allview Auto in the first half of 2026, more than 30% above the same period of 2025. The company also said that the next competitor held roughly 14.6% at that point. These figures are presented by the issuer on the basis of APIA registration data and should be kept within the segment definition used in the filing.

The difference between a first-half share and a September share cannot be converted directly into unit growth. Monthly registration patterns can be affected by dealer deliveries, vehicle availability, fleet or retail timing, and changes in the number of brands or models included in the category. The September figure therefore shows Allview’s position in that particular month, but does not by itself describe the company’s full-year volume.

Why B1 matters for this category

The segment is partly aimed at younger drivers who can obtain a B1 licence from the age of 16. Allview markets both CityZEN and 4City for this type of urban use. Buyers still need to check the vehicle’s exact homologation, licence requirements, mass, power and registration documents rather than relying only on a general marketing description.

Electric microcars are not simply smaller versions of ordinary passenger cars. Their legal category can impose limits on mass, power and speed, while an urban range figure is not a guarantee for every journey. Cold weather, traffic, cabin heating, payload and driving style all affect the distance available between charges.

According to Allview’s official product information, 4City is offered with a 16.2-kWh battery rated for up to 205 kilometres of urban range and an optional 25-kWh battery rated for up to 300 kilometres in urban use. The company quotes fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes for the standard battery and about 45 minutes for the optional version. These are manufacturer figures, not independent Carboratory measurements.

Price and equipment

Visual Fan announced a starting price of €12,890 plus VAT for 4City through the Allview Auto dealer network. The final invoice can change with the battery, equipment, transport, financing and dealer terms. A buyer comparing offers should check whether VAT is included and which battery is part of the advertised price.

The company lists a metal body, two front airbags, stability control, a 360-degree camera system, parking sensors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging and keyless access among the available equipment. These are manufacturer-stated features. Their availability should be checked against the current configuration because the filing does not establish that every item is standard on every version.

Allview also quotes a flexible luggage compartment ranging from 123 to 745 litres and four driving modes: Eco, Standard, Sport and Custom. Again, the precise specification needs to be confirmed in the dealer’s offer. The market-share report is a business filing, not a replacement for a price list or a type-approval sheet.

Distribution and the Bucharest show

Visual Fan said that Allview Auto added eight partner showrooms during the first half of 2026 and continued to develop its service and after-sales operation. The filing does not list each location or the capacity of every service point. Potential customers should ask the authorised dealer which showroom and service facility cover their area.

Allview Auto announced that CityZEN and 4City would be displayed at the Bucharest Auto Show & Accessories event from 6 to 11 October 2026, in Pavilion B2 at Romexpo. Seeing the vehicles at a show can help buyers understand their size and seating layout, but it does not replace checking delivery time, warranty terms or the final price.

The 58.87% result shows that Allview Auto held a strong position inside Romania’s electric microcar segment in September, with CityZEN and 4City taking the first two model positions in the reported table. Whether that position continues will require the registration data for later months and, ideally, the absolute volumes behind the percentages. For now, the Romanian company’s offer is concentrated in a niche where licence category, urban range, price and local service support matter more than comparisons with full-size electric passenger cars.
