CUPRA has shown the Raval VZ with a CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT pack at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The package adds a set of exterior and interior styling parts developed with ABT, rather than a new motor or battery specification. CUPRA says it will appear in the configurator from the end of November 2026 for selected Raval variants. The company has not published a price for the pack or a complete market-by-market availability list.

What the ABT package changes

The package is built around a more aggressive visual treatment. CUPRA lists front and rear splitters, pronounced side skirts, a roof spoiler and small aerodynamic winglets. The car also receives exclusive 19-inch Sport Black Matt alloy wheels, ABT lettering and Dark Chrome CUPRA logos. Those components give the Raval a lower-looking stance and add more visible links to the motorsport-inspired theme used in the Paris presentation.

The manufacturer describes the parts as design elements that sharpen the car’s sporting character. It has not released separate downforce, drag or performance measurements for the ABT pack. There is therefore no confirmed evidence that the package raises top speed, changes acceleration or adds power. Its effect should be understood primarily as a visual and personalisation upgrade unless CUPRA publishes additional technical data.

For a new vehicle order, the components will be handcrafted and fitted at the CUPRA Racing Factory before delivery. CUPRA also says owners will be able to add the pack later through authorised CUPRA specialists. The retrofit route will depend on the vehicle variant and the parts approved for that market. The detailed compatibility list is expected with the configurator.

The Raval VZ powertrain remains unchanged

The Raval VZ uses a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor driving the front wheels. CUPRA’s published technical information lists 166kW, or 226PS, and 290Nm of maximum torque. The car uses a battery with 51.5kWh net and 55kWh gross capacity. The claimed 0-100km/h time is 6.8 seconds and the top speed is 175km/h.

The maximum quoted WLTP range is up to 440km, depending on tyres and equipment. DC charging is rated at up to 105kW, with CUPRA estimating 24 minutes for a 10-80 per cent charge using the 52kWh battery. These are manufacturer figures, not Carboratory test results. CUPRA has not published a separate range figure for a Raval VZ fitted with the complete ABT package, and extra bodywork or wheels can affect efficiency.

The VZ specification itself includes DCC Sport suspension, ESC OFF mode, 19-inch wheels and wider 235mm tyres, according to CUPRA’s Raval documentation. Those chassis and performance features belong to the VZ model; they should not be confused with the cosmetic and trim changes introduced by CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT. For buyers, this distinction matters because the package does not currently represent a separately rated powertrain.

Digital cabin with a performance focus

The Raval’s interior combines a driver-focused layout with digital displays and physical controls. CUPRA lists a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch infotainment screen. The steering wheel retains physical buttons and satellite controls for driving modes and regenerative braking. A suspended centre console creates additional storage space, while Smart Light Next Generation uses ambient lighting and visual signals linked to selected assistance functions.

Interior specifications vary across the Raval range. CUPRA describes Pulse, Immersive, Feel and AHEAD configurations, with recycled fabrics, Dinamica microfibre, vegan leather or 3D-knitted recycled seat covers depending on the chosen interior. The ABT announcement refers to bespoke cabin details but does not publish a full list for every country. Buyers will need to check which combinations can be selected with the pack.

The Raval has 441 litres of boot space and up to 1,240 litres with the rear seats folded. CUPRA says the rear of the car remains free of high-voltage components, helping to preserve luggage capacity. The model seats five and measures roughly 4.05 metres long, 1.78 metres wide and 1.52 metres high. These dimensions make it a genuinely compact urban EV even in the higher-performance VZ form.

Availability and the next Raval updates

CUPRA has not announced the ABT pack’s price in the Paris press material. The confirmed timing is the end of November 2026 for the configurator, on selected variants. Factory installation and later dealer installation are separate routes, and the final offer may vary by country. No Romanian price or ordering date has been confirmed in the sources used for this article.

The same Paris announcement points to additional Raval features early next year: an illuminated logo, indicators with exterior projections, a top speed of up to 190km/h and a reversing assist function that can retrace up to 50 metres of the car’s previous forward path. CUPRA has not said whether every feature will be available on every market or on every ABT-equipped vehicle.

The Raval VZ CUSTOM CUPRA by ABT is therefore best understood as a styling-led special configuration of an already defined electric hatchback. Its differentiators are the handcrafted aero parts, black 19-inch wheels, ABT details and cabin personalisation. Power, battery capacity and the official VZ performance figures remain those of the underlying model until CUPRA publishes a separate technical specification.
