Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore: an Ad Personam example inspired by Italy’s flag
Lamborghini displayed at Monterey Car Week 2026, in California, a Temerario personalised through the Ad Personam programme. The car, named Temerario Tricolore, uses a colour scheme inspired by Italy’s flag and retains the hybrid powertrain of the production model.
Tricolore has not been announced as a new technical version, nor as a limited series available to order. Its role is to show the personalisation possibilities offered to Temerario customers through the Ad Personam department. Lamborghini has not communicated a price, nor an intention to produce several identical examples.
Body divided into three colour zones
The exterior theme does not simply reproduce the green, white and red of the Italian flag across the whole body. The upper part of the car is black, the central zone is white, and the lower elements use a blue-green shade. The separation is mainly horizontal and follows the body lines.
The direct reference to Italy appears on the bonnet, where a green-white-red stripe starts near the windscreen and reaches the Lamborghini emblem. The configuration is completed by black wheels and red brake calipers.
The example was presented in the Pebble Beach area alongside other electrified models from the brand. The California event is used by manufacturers both for premieres and for displaying one-off cars or configurations aimed at collector customers.
What the Lamborghini Ad Personam programme is
Ad Personam is the programme through which customers can choose colours, material combinations and details that are not found in the standard configuration. Projects are developed together with Lamborghini specialists, and the result can range from a special shade to a complete theme for the exterior and cabin.
The Temerario Tricolore demonstrates the visible side of this process: chromatic divisions created specifically for the car’s shapes, contrasting elements and graphics applied to the bonnet. The manufacturer describes the project as a tribute to work done in Italy, but it has not published details about the time needed for painting or the technique used for each layer.
Lamborghini had previously also presented a Temerario Ad Personam inspired by Sardinia. That car combined Grigio Serget paint with blue details and customised materials in the cabin. The two projects show that Ad Personam is not a fixed equipment level: each theme can have different colours and ornaments.
Hybrid system with a V8 and three electric motors
Under the personalised bodywork, the Temerario Tricolore has the mechanical specifications of a regular Lamborghini Temerario. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 develops 800 hp and 730 Nm and can reach 10,000 rpm. It is joined by three electric motors: two for the front axle and one integrated into the rear transmission assembly.
Total system output is 920 hp (677 kW). Lamborghini quotes 0–100 km/h acceleration in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 343 km/h.
| Specification | Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore |
|---|---|
| Combustion engine | Twin-turbo V8, 4.0 litres |
| Electric motors | 3 |
| System power | 920 hp / 677 kW |
| 0–100 km/h | 2.7 seconds |
| Top speed | 343 km/h |
| Project type | Ad Personam example |
The Temerario is the successor to the Huracán, but it drops the previous generation’s naturally aspirated V10. The new V8 and the electric side provide all-wheel drive, and the motor on the rear axle can recover energy or supply extra torque.
There is no confirmation of a Tricolore edition going into production
The name displayed on the car at Pebble Beach may suggest a commercial edition, but the available information indicates an Ad Personam show car. Lamborghini has not announced a number of examples, a delivery schedule or a price for the Tricolore package.
A customer could request a configuration inspired by this car, but acceptance of the project, the price and any differences would be set individually through Ad Personam. There is also no confirmation that the same combination will be offered in the standard configurator or on the Romanian market.
