The BMW X7 gets a 14-piece Larte carbon kit. The changes do not increase the SUV’s power
The BMW X7 can be ordered with a Larte Performance exterior pack that changes almost every visible body area, without touching the engine or transmission. The programme is aimed at the current X7 G07 facelift, produced from 2022, and can be fitted to both Luxury and M Sport versions.
The full configuration brings together 14 components. Among them are a carbon-fibre bonnet, front-grille trims, parts applied to the bumpers, a splitter, mirror caps, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. Larte also offers twin exhaust tips and 23-inch forged wheels.
What changes at the front
The most visible piece is the bonnet. It keeps the proportions of the BMW part, but adds more pronounced ribs and leaves the carbon-fibre texture on show. Beneath the large grille sit a lowered splitter and two inserts that optically widen the front.
The pack does not replace the bumper in full. Several components are applied over the original parts and are designed for the car’s mounting points. According to Larte Design, the kit is made for installation without altering the body structure.

The skirts, 23-inch wheels and carbon parts change the car’s profile, but the suspension and running gear are not part of the pack. Photo: Larte Design.
In profile, the changes are more discreet. Mirror caps and skirt extensions use the same carbon finish, and the wheels have inserts that continue the visual theme. These are available separately, so the owner is not obliged to buy the full configuration.
New diffuser and carbon exhaust tips
At the rear, Larte has redesigned the lower bumper area. The diffuser is framed by vertical extensions, and the exhaust tips are visually moved towards the extremities. Above the rear window a spoiler can be fitted that lengthens the roof line, without the size of a track wing.

The components are offered in two variants. The first uses exposed carbon fibre, protected with clear lacquer. The second is made from composite material and must be painted in body colour or a contrasting shade. The pack manufacturer says the materials and fasteners have TÜV certification for Germany.
The kit does not turn the X7 into a more powerful model
The images show an X7 with a look close to a performance version, but the announced changes are design ones. Larte does not mention an engine remap, an exhaust that changes performance, new brakes or a recalibrated suspension.
The pack is compatible with several powertrains, including the X7 xDrive40i and X7 M60i xDrive. In the current European specification, the M60i uses a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 assisted by a 48 V mild-hybrid system. The car’s power remains that set by BMW, regardless of how many Larte parts are fitted.
That distinction also matters for type approval. An exterior part may require documents and checks on dimensions or body edges, but it does not automatically change the engine’s technical data. Owners must check the requirements of the Romanian Auto Registry (Registrul Auto Român) before fitting parts that alter the vehicle’s overall size or original configuration.
The pack can be ordered in stages
Larte splits the offer into three levels: Light, Medium and Full. The base version includes the splitter, skirts and diffuser, while the complete configuration adds the bonnet, grille trim and all front and rear pieces. Each element can be selected separately in the configurator.
The final price depends on material, number of parts, paint, transport and fitting. The international configurator displays sums in dollars and adapts the offer to the delivery region, so there is, at the time of publication, no official euro tariff for Romania. VAT, shipping and workshop labour can be added to the component cost.
Larte indicates a 36-month parts warranty and offers international delivery. The company estimates about seven hours to install a set, but the real duration can increase if composite parts must be prepared and painted.
