Jetour is entering the Romanian market officially with four SUVs: X50, Dashing, X70 Plus and T2. Sales start on 15 September 2026 through ten authorised outlets, and the promotional prices communicated at launch start at €23,290 including VAT for the Dashing.

In the first stage, all models for the local market have petrol turbo engines. Jetour is not launching electric or plug-in hybrid versions in Romania now, although the brand offers such powertrains in other regions.

Local operations are coordinated together with Asian Automotive Distribution Center (AADC), the company that also distributes the brand in Poland. Romania thus becomes the second Jetour market in the European Union.

Jetour Dashing: from €23,290

The Dashing is a fastback-profile SUV available with two petrol engines. The 1.5 Turbo version develops 147 hp and 230 Nm and is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The list price is €25,290, and the launch offer reduces it to €23,290.

The 1.6 Turbo variant has 190 hp and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. It costs €28,790 on the list, or €26,790 in the promotional offer announced at debut.

Equipment can include a panoramic roof, power tailgate, heated and ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and driver-assistance systems. The importer has chosen a single main equipment level, with price differences linked primarily to the engine and colour.

The X70 Plus has seven seats and starts at €25,590

The Jetour X70 Plus is the range’s family model and offers seven seats. It has a 2,720 mm wheelbase, dual-zone automatic climate control and separate adjustment for rear ventilation. The driver’s seat can be electrically adjusted in six directions, and the passenger’s in four.

The engine offer is shared with the Dashing. The X70 Plus 1.5T has a list price of €27,590 and a promotional price of €25,590. The 1.6T version with 190 hp costs €31,990 on the list, or €29,990 in the launch campaign.

According to information provided by brand representatives, the model has more than ten assistance systems and six airbags. The exact equipment list should be checked in the commercial documentation of the ordered version.

The T2 is the only all-wheel-drive model

The T2 sits at the top of the Romanian range and has a robust body oriented towards off-asphalt use. The 2.0-litre petrol turbo engine develops 245 hp and 375 Nm, and the transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The XWD all-wheel-drive system can switch automatically between 2WD and 4WD, depending on grip. Six driving modes, the additional X mode and a function for controlled low-speed travel on difficult terrain are available.

The cabin uses a 15.6-inch central screen and a multimedia system based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The T2 has a list price of €41,900, and the launch promotional price is €39,900.

The X50 will arrive later

The most compact model in the range, the Jetour X50, measures about 4.4 metres and has a boot of almost 400 litres. The base version uses a 1.5 Turbo engine of 116 hp and 143 Nm, a five-speed manual gearbox and a declared average consumption of 7.3 l/100 km.

The alternative develops 156 hp and 230 Nm, gets a six-speed dual-clutch automatic and has a declared consumption of 7.5 l/100 km. Announced equipment includes two 10.25-inch screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree panoramic camera.

The X50 does not enter showrooms at the same time as the other three models. The commercial launch is scheduled for the following months of autumn 2026, and the importer has not yet communicated prices for Romania. For that reason, the €23,290 figure mentioned as the entry into the current range refers to the Dashing, not the X50.

Ten dealers at launch and a seven-year warranty

The initial network comprises ten sales and service locations:

  • Brașov: Euro-Motor;
  • Iași: Open Auto Center;
  • Timișoara: Car District;
  • Constanța: Expocar;
  • Oradea: Auto Bara;
  • Târgu Mureș: Aliat Auto;
  • Buzău: BMG Auto;
  • Craiova: Simode.

Jetour intends to expand the network to 13–15 outlets by the end of 2026. All cars sold officially in Romania will have a warranty of seven years or 150,000 km, whichever limit is reached first.

For buyers assessing a new brand, price and equipment are only part of the decision. Parts availability, repair times, residual value and how the warranty works in practice can be judged more accurately after the local network develops and the first used cars appear.

Who Jetour is

Jetour was launched in 2018 and is part of the industrial ecosystem of the Chinese Chery group. The brand says it has exceeded 2.5 million cars sold worldwide by the end of August 2026 and that it is present in more than 100 countries and regions.

Entry into the Romanian market is based exclusively on petrol SUVs, at a moment when other Chinese brands emphasise electrics and hybrids. That choice avoids dependence on charging, but it also means future customers must compare real consumption, taxation and running costs with the hybrid alternatives available in the same price bands.
