Lynk & Co will show the 07 GT to European audiences for the first time at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The presentation is scheduled for the company’s press conference on 12 October, after which the car will remain on display for the rest of the event. The vehicle on the stand will be the Chinese-specification 07 GT. Lynk & Co says the future European version will receive market-specific specifications, technology and equipment to meet local regulations and customer expectations.
The 07 GT was unveiled in China in June 2026. Lynk & Co describes it as the first model in a new sport touring category and plans to bring it to Europe in 2027. The company has not yet published a European price, powertrain specification, battery capacity, WLTP figures or a market-by-market delivery schedule. Those details should not be inferred from the show car.
What Lynk & Co is bringing to Paris
The Paris appearance is Lynk & Co’s first participation in the motor show. The brand’s press conference is listed for 16:05–16:20 CET on 12 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Its stand is in Hall 5.1, stand A32. The 07 GT will be displayed alongside the current European line-up: the 01 and 08 plug-in hybrids and the all-electric 02.
This is a European debut rather than a confirmed sales launch. Lynk & Co’s announcement does not say that European customers can order the car at the show. It only confirms the first public European presentation and a planned 2027 arrival. The wording matters because the displayed car is built to Chinese-market specifications, while the eventual European car will be adapted later.
Lynk & Co says it operates in 25 European markets and has more than 140 partner-operated sales points. That describes the company’s regional network, but it does not confirm availability of the 07 GT in every country. A Romanian launch would still require an importer announcement, European homologation, pricing and a defined equipment range.
A sport touring shape
The 07 GT uses a low-roof shooting-brake silhouette. Lynk & Co places it between a grand tourer’s visual proportions and the practical requirements of a car intended for daily use and longer journeys. The company says the model was designed around dynamic performance, long-distance comfort and everyday versatility.
The body style is central to the story. Compared with a conventional coupé, a shooting brake can provide a larger rear opening and a more useful luggage area while keeping a lower roofline. Lynk & Co refers to a versatile luggage compartment, but the European release does not give a measured boot volume or loading dimensions.
The press material also links the design to Lynk & Co’s motorsport heritage and to a broader travel-focused idea of mobility. That is the manufacturer’s positioning rather than an independent assessment of handling. Acceleration, ride comfort, cabin noise and cornering ability will need to be evaluated on a production-specification European car.
Cabin and practicality
Lynk & Co describes the interior as spacious and driver-focused. It mentions connectivity, premium materials and a flexible luggage area, but it has not released the complete European equipment list. The Chinese show car therefore provides a design preview, not a final specification sheet for buyers in Europe.
For a sport touring vehicle, practical details are likely to matter as much as the exterior. Rear-seat space, the loading opening, the position of the battery and the usable luggage floor can all change between markets or versions. The company’s statement that the European model will feature market-specific technology and features leaves those details open.
The Paris show should make the cabin easier to inspect in person, but visitors will still need to distinguish visible equipment from confirmed European standard specification. Lynk & Co has not stated whether every feature shown on the Chinese vehicle will be offered in Europe.
Powertrain information is still limited
The European debut announcement does not list engine displacement, electric motor output, combined system power, battery size, electric range or WLTP consumption. Lynk & Co’s current European range includes plug-in hybrids and a battery-electric model, but that line-up does not establish the 07 GT’s powertrain.
Information published for a Chinese-market car cannot automatically be transferred to the European vehicle. The company explicitly says the future European version will be adapted to local regulations and customer expectations. Until a European technical sheet is released, the exact drivetrain, charging details and performance figures remain unknown.
This is also relevant to price. A future European price will depend on the final powertrain, equipment, taxes and distribution strategy. Lynk & Co has not announced an order-opening date or a price for the European 07 GT, and there is no confirmed Romanian availability at the time of the Paris announcement.
How it fits the range
The 07 GT is intended to broaden Lynk & Co’s European offer with a lower, more touring-oriented body. The 01 is a plug-in hybrid, the 02 is fully electric and the 08 is a long-range plug-in hybrid in the company’s current European portfolio. The new model is not described as a replacement for any of them.
Lynk & Co has not confirmed whether the 07 GT will be offered with front-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, several battery sizes or a performance derivative. It also has not said how the model will be positioned relative to the 08 in price or interior space. Those are future announcements, not details that can be filled in from the show presentation.
The confirmed facts are narrower but clear: the Chinese-specification Lynk & Co 07 GT will make its European debut in Paris on 12 October 2026, and a European version is planned for 2027. The final European specification, price and Romanian sales plan remain unannounced.
